SAPIO began as a student project at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU), which was awarded Best Bachelor Project 2023 in Information & Cyber Security. The founders are Matteo Demasi, Sibille Scherrer and Giuseppe Demasi.
